Thorsun, a swimwear line created by George Sotelo, spring/summer 2017 stayed true to it’s integrity of keeping “the spontaneous modern traveler in mind.”
Every suit could be worn by a beachgoer whether they lounge around tanning all day or go on a snorkeling adventure. The prints were bold and fun and the silhouettes were both classic and functional.
Every model was bronzed and poised. Each swimsuit was complete with a pair of sneakers, Birkenstocks or sandals further encouraging how every suit can be worn on various warm weather outings, from beach strolls to waterfall hikes.
A standout look was the conservative one piece for women, in a teal, light green and black design. The high neckline and long sleeves were refreshing to see in a swimwear market that often leaves its consumers overexposed.
Thorsun spring/summer 2017 certainly made a splash this season. Be on the lookout for the online release because they will surely sell out, following suit of their past collection.
