Marco Marco’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection surpassed the conventional norms of what a fashion show truly is with his vibrant catwalk of queens. Part ethereal dance and L.A. rave, the show was the embodiment of beauty, both inside and out.

Each look was intricately and playfully crafted from an array of sparkling black nylon and mesh netting, lined in accent colors of neon lime and yellow. The brand’s signature speedos naturally made the most appearances but under slight alterations with crisscrossing cords over men’s chests and cut out leggings elongating their stances.

Each drag queen model, all former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants, slayed the runway as one outfit topped the next, from sheer cage corsets to flowy dark bottoms and jeweled nipple covers. From Manila Luzon to Miss Fame, the queens epitomized the glamorous spirit of the show and Marco’s equally fabulous pieces.

This season, Marco Marco once again presented his collection as a vision of body celebration and acceptance — a remarkable statement for spring.
