Sandy Liang Spring/Summer 2016
September 13, 2015
The epitome of cool is a Sandy Liang look. Liang’s instantly street-ready designs are at once elegant and wearable, a combination difficult to come by. With a lively color combination, relaxed silhouettes and intricate detailing, Liang’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection was a knockout.
Bursts of color and ornate detailing are a skill of Liang’s, and this season those elements were shown in a variety of ways. Fur stoles, clutches and trimmings added a touch of whimsy to the overall nonchalance of the looks.
Denim ending in frayed hemlines were a hit. Paired with ruffled silk blouses and black suede outerwear, the pieces complemented each other perfectly. Gingham’s cameo appearance in a pair of cropped pants gave the fabric a rather fancy air while the white sneaker dominated as the ongoing trend-setter.
From palette to silhouette, Liang continues to exert a prominent force in urban luxury with her latest collection.
