Feelo’je Spring/Summer 2015

As the Feelo’je Collection took place, the music created an islander vibe composing the heritage of the Anguillan designer and the style of the swimwear collection itself.

The Feelo’je collection was complete with bikinis, monokinis and one-piece suits that criss-crossed in every direction. The criss-cross pattern was a common element along with open backs creating a fun, yet sexy swimsuit. The collection was nothing short of an eye-grabber with bright warm colors.

The collection opened with a metallic gold, high waisted, crossed layer fabric suit with cutouts exposing a touch of hip cleavage. With a piece reminiscent of a flashier “Baywatch” opening the collection, it was no surprise the symbolic island palette of pink, orange, yellow and blue were to come next. Who knew a bikini can be criss-crossed to fittingly form the body in so many different directions and shapes?

Although cutouts and hip cleavage were a prominent feature, what stood out most was the use of accessories to accent the bold and bright collection. Chunky bracelets and statements necklaces accompanied each piece, not to mention the spiked platform heels in every imaginable shade.

With a tropical palette, high waisted constructions, and wrapped criss-crossing silhouettes, the Feelo’je collection embodied what bold swimwear is coming to be next season.
