It is essential that colleges, including NYU, encourage the pursuit of an academic career for all students by nurturing a higher economic mobility rate and an environment where financial differences are undistinctive.
Taken with the fact that 20% of young adults worldwide suffer from some sort of mental illness, it is clear that NYU students suffering from mental illness should take full advantage of the many wellness services available on campus.
After a tumultuous and emotionally taxing election cycle—to say the least—one often overlooked, yet nearly as abhorrent feature of this most recent ordeal was the absolutely subpar and unacceptable campaign gear that was seen sported by the many supporters of each candidate.
