Women’s Volleyball

The NYU women's volleyball team has been doing very well so far this season.

2018-19 Record: 22-16

Athlete to Watch: Last season, CAS sophomore Gretchen Kincade finished third on the team in kills and blocks and had a string of career-high performances as well. And she has already started this season strong, with a team-high eight kills in the season opener on Aug. 30 and a match-high 10 kills in the team’s second match of the season. Expect her to keep filling the stat sheet as the season progresses.

You Should Know: Last season, NYU outscored its opponents by an average of five points per game.

In One Sentence: Coming off last season’s ECAC Championship win, the Violets will hope to repeat their success and establish themselves as perennial contenders.

Next game: Friday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. vs. Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
