Marches are great ways to band together, push for change and show support for a cause. This Saturday, New Yorkers young and old (and even some with their dogs) showed strength in numbers as they marched in Central Park in support of gun control as part of The March for Our Lives. It was interesting to see what people wore and brought to the event, including “pussy hats” from the Women’s March, shirts or hats with messages in support of immigrant rights and #blacklivesmatter pins — but what was truly amazing was how individuals used their creativity and wit to create signs and posters that really got the message across.
