The Best of Everything Pumpkin Spice

The pumpkin spice frapuccino from Starbucks is perfect for those who enjoy the relaxing seasonal taste of pumpkin spice, but prefer a cold beverage rather than the classic pumpkin spice latte.

Fall is the season of caramel apples, hot cider, homemade stuffing and, of course, pumpkin spice. While the pumpkin spice obsession may go a little far at times — pumpkin spice Pringles, anyone? — there are lots of tried-and-true pumpkin spice products to get your fix for the fall time. If you want to know what NYU students are loving this season, read on!

Pepperidge Farm’s Pumpkin Spice Bread

“I just tried Pepperidge Farm’s pumpkin spice bread the other day, because I was really craving pumpkin bread, and it was actually really good. It’s not super sweet, but it’s the perfect amount of sweet for bread. It’s really good with pumpkin cream cheese because it gives it a little more pumpkin flavor. I like it because it’s not overwhelmingly flavored and it’ll satisfy my sweet tooth until I actually get to have homemade pumpkin-flavored food during the holidays.” — CAS freshman Sathya Raghavan

Bath and Body Works’ Pumpkin Spice Candle

“I really like the pumpkin spice candle from Bath and Body Works. It makes my whole apartment smell like fall!” — Tisch junior Emery Schaffer

Pumpkin Spice Oreos

“My roommate brought home a box of pumpkin spice Oreos a few weeks ago and offered me one. I didn’t hesitate to take one because Oreos are pretty much always great, and I turned out to be right because they were awesome! They basically just tasted like a cookie version of pumpkin pie so they’re perfect for this season! However, though they cool, I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy them over regular Oreos because nothing beats the original.”

— CAS Freshman Lila Olson

Chobani Pumpkin Spice Greek Yogurt

“Pumpkin spice Chobani is a really good, healthy option! I love Greek yogurt so I was excited when I found it in the grocery store. I was a little skeptical at first since I usually prefer fruity flavors in Chobani, but I decided to switch it up and it ended up being really good! It has a really nice sweet flavor and definitely includes some spices, but they’re balanced nicely and not overwhelming.” — Gallatin freshman Allison Daley

Toll House Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough

“Toll House Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough is a great go-to if you’re craving an easy pumpkin dessert. It is ready within minutes and is such a fun flavor to have during the fall!” — Steinhardt junior Caroline Ogulnick
