Douglas Hannant’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection, held at the South Village’s Parlor, brought an air of elegance to fashion week. Hannant attracted celebrities, such as Edward Tricomi. The music was the perfect mix of soft yet powerful, and gave a strong atmosphere to the event space.

Every look had its own personality.  From funky pant suits to full length gowns, the collection had a dynamic energy.  The looks were also versatile, and could be seen sported from casual to a more upscale setting.

The most notable garments were the evening dresses.  They were simply mesmerizing, from the rich colors used, or the shimmering textiles.

For instance, one metallic silver gown, and even though it was one of the simple pieces, made a big impact. The gown effortlessly merged sex appeal with class, producing an elegant piece. Simply put, glamorous is the best way to describe Douglas Hannant’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
