The Washington Square News aims to bring NYU students the most important news at the university and in New York City every day. But with such a unique and vast student body, there are countless stories to tell.
To help capture the individual stories of the world around NYU, WSN has launched Under the Arch, a platform for literary journalists and readers interested in the stories of ordinary people. Our content producers strive to feature the trials, tribulations, dramas, humors, emotions and complexities of NYU’s daily life.
Every week, the blog will take on a new theme that will document, at least in part, how we felt, lived and acted in a particular point of NYU history. In our pieces, we focus on the experiences of commoners in order to reveal what is uncommon about our generation. It’s a blog for the voices of NYU that may at times go unheard.
Visit http://wsnunderthearch.com/ to see what we’re covering this week. While the first week’s content is already up, we start rolling out our stories every Monday. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, make sure to check out our “About Us” page or email the Blogs Editor Amy Aixi Zhang at [email protected].
We’re excited about the blog, and hope that at least one of our stories will connect with you on your journey through NYU.
