- No funding: The U.S. News Short List gave NYU’s Stern School of Business the distinction of leaving its MBA graduates with the most student debt.
- Gender equality: As part of their STEMNow summer program, NYU-Poly held a cyber security course specifically for high-school girls, after noticing a lack of girls participating in their past Cyber Security Awareness Weeks.
Playing catch-up:
- Carlos Danger: In the continuing saga that is the unraveling of Anthony Weiner, a campaign intern revealed in an editorial piece published by the New York Daily Newsthat Weiner often calls his interns “Monica” (Lewinsky) and that interns volunteer for Weiner’s campaign solely for the possibility of meeting his wife, Huma, and through her, hooking onto Clinton’s campaign if she runs in 2016.

- Soda Ban fizzles: Yesterday, to no one’s surprise, the New York State Appellate Court struck down what has become known as Michael Bloomberg’s “soda ban” law. Bloomberg says: “It’s a temporary seback.”
