Election day is upon us. Today is the first day of the next four years of our lives; celebrate it accordingly with the appropriate food and drink items. Here are five election-themed dining delights to savor this monumental occasion.
Americone Dream | Ben & Jerry’s
This Stephen Colbert-inspired favorite is a must-have Election Day dessert. Traditional vanilla ice cream is infused with fudge-covered, waffle cone pieces and a creamy, caramel swirl. You can feel good about indulging in this treat as proceeds go to The Stephen Colbert AmeriCone Dream Fund, which supports charities whose causes include the environment, underpriviledged children and veterans.
Stars and Stripes Mug | The Cottage Industry
Warm up on this chilly election day with this innovative take on a traditional mug. When the mug is cold it displays white stars on a blue background. When it is warmed up, the red stripes appear. Voilà, American Flag.
