On the Job: America Reads and Counts

Although NYU gives students many different opportunities to earn scholarship money through work study jobs, the most popular job for students is the America Reads program, which attracts more than 1,000 volunteers each year.
Tamera Davis (Gallatin ’19), member of NYU Project Outreach, volunteer at Strive for College, and one of many on campus who enjoys giving back to the community, says she is thankful for the opportunities offered by a prestigious university.
