Madrid
In a recent interview with the The Wall Street Journal, Luka Dončić announced that he would be interested in reuniting with a former team. Fear not, Laker Nation, for he was not talking about the Dallas Mavericks. Instead, Dončić shared an interest in returning to Real Madrid, the team that he played for before his NBA career.
“For sure,” Dončić said in response to a question on whether he would play for Real Madrid again. “They raised me.”

Shanghai
After a brief break, Novak Djokovic will be back on the tennis court at the 2025 Rolex Shanghai Masters, according to the tournament organizers. Following a disappointing defeat to Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals of the US Open, Djokovic is hoping for a better result in China.
He’s been successful in the Rolex Shanghai Masters, and he is looking to bring home his fifth title at the tournament. Meanwhile, Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will also be competing, so Djokovic will have to get past the two top-ranked players in the world again in Shanghai.
“Having Novak, the most successful player in history at the Rolex Shanghai Masters, as well as the 2008 Tennis Masters Cup Champion, is beyond excitement, “ tournament director Michael A. Luévano said. “Every match he plays at this stage in his career is historic. We could not be happier.”
Djokovic may no longer be able to keep up with Alcaraz and Sinner, but the 24-time Grand Slam champion still is playing at a high level — evidenced by his US Open victory over world No. 4, Taylor Fritz.
As Djokovic aims to make a final push for his 25th Grand Slam, he continues to show his ability and desire to compete at the highest level.
