Colorblind casting in Broadway gives old shows new dimensions, as evidenced in the diverse cast of "Hamilton" and "Cloud Nine." Looking past skin color when casting does not take away from the show's logic, and instead creates shows based on pure talent.
The cast in Lin Manuel Miranda's musical "Hamilton," was developed through racially-blind casting, purposefully striving to construct a racially diverse cast.
