While it is unlikely that her name will be completely rid of stigma, Lewinsky’s decision to turn her infamy into a platform against cyberbullying is commendable.
The recent case of 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick, who committed suicide because of cyberbullying, brings to light the need for legislation to combat the rise of harassment online, and for schools to ensure both parents and teens have better knowledge of the dangers of the Internet.
