Saturday Night Live has dominated the mainstream comedy scene for decades, but the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre has become an uncensored and independent force on the scene.
Comics from SNL alum Billy Crystal to up-and-comer Iliza Shlesinger will perform at the NY Comedy Festival, running from Nov. 10 to Nov. 15. The event will take place across various venues across the city, including NYU Skirball and the Comedy Cellar.
