From Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, the NYU Department of Public Safety received one report of assault, 10 reports of controlled substance violations, one report of criminal impersonation, one report of fondling, two reports of harassment and nine reports of larceny.

Assault

On Oct. 3 at 11:33 a.m., an NYU student reported being punched by an unidentified person at Washington Square North and Fifth Avenue. A police report was filed, and the case is open and under investigation.

Controlled Substance Violation

On Sept. 28 at 11 p.m., a resident assistant reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Founders Residence Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 28 at 11 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Broome Street Residence Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 28 at 11:20 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Third North Residence Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 28 at 11:36 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Founders Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 28 at 11:38 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Broome Street Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 28 at 11:55 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Founders Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 29 at 12:03 a.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Founders Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of
Community Standards.

On Sept. 29 at 12:10 a.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Founders Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 29 at 12:28 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Palladium Residence Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

On Sept. 29 at 11:55 p.m., an RA reported witnessing underage alcohol possession in Clark Street Residence Hall. Police notification was declined and the case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

Criminal Impersonation

On Sept. 30 at 9:30 p.m., an NYU student reported witnessing criminal impersonation in Third North Hall. The case has been referred to the Office of Community Standards.

Fondling

On Sept. 29 at 5:09 p.m., an NYU student reported that she was the victim of a fondling in the lobby of Carlyle Court Residence Hall. A police report was filed, and the case is open and under investigation.

Harassment

On Oct. 2 at 10:03 p.m., two NYU students reported being harassed by an unidentified person at University Place and 8th Street. A police report was not filed, and the case is open and under investigation.

On Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m., an NYU student reported being the victim of harassment in the Vanderbilt Hall courtyard. Police notification was declined, and the case has been referred to the Office of Title IX.

Larceny

On Sept. 27 at 4:50 p.m., an NYU student reported that she was the victim of a larceny in Brittany Residence Hall. A police report was filed, and the case is open and under investigation.

On Sept. 28 at 4:46 p.m., an NYU student reported that his bike was missing from the bike racks outside of 6 MetroTech Center. A police report was filed and the case is open and
under investigation.

On Sept. 28 at 4:48 p.m., an NYU student reported that his bike was missing from a bike rack outside of the Steinhardt East Building. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and under investigation.

On Sept. 29 at 11:45 a.m., an NYU student reported that her wallet was missing from a bathroom in Elmer Holmes Bobst Library. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and under investigation.

On Oct. 1 at 12:12 p.m., an NYU staff member reported her pens and lamp missing from her desk in Bobst Library. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and
under investigation.

On Oct. 1 at 8 p.m., an NYU student reported her bike missing from the bike racks outside 6 MetroTech Center. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and
under investigation.

On Oct. 2 at 6:54 p.m., an NYU student reported her bike missing from the Tisch Hall bike racks. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and
under investigation.

On Oct. 3 at 5:01 p.m., an NYU student reported his bike missing from the bike racks outside the Meyer Building. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and under investigation.

On Oct. 3 at 6:27 p.m., an NYU student reported his laptop missing from a classroom in Rogers Hall. Police notification was declined, and the case is open and under investigation.
