A university spokesperson said that while NYU did not request the suspension of the account, it did alert Instagram of a post by the People’s Solidarity Coalition which listed armed struggle as an anti-colonial tactic.

As first-year students arrive on campus, demonstrators at the Tandon School of Engineering called for the university to halt investments in and recruiting offers at companies with ties to Israel, including the U.S. Navy and Lockheed Martin.
