Researchers will look at 220 villages that had community-based schools but now are under control of the government and examine various indicators of quality.
The Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation is funding projects that will bring education and social services to 3,500 young Mexican and Mexican-American students.
The classes will be presented as “Active Learning Modules” and will run Monday to Friday, but students will have access to the classes 24 hours every day.
