As school starts up and students see their classmates again, everyone will be asking, “So how was your break?” This month off school is used differently for many NYU students. Students may relax, travel, spend time with their family or take J-term classes.
Despite the Tisch Asia lawsuit and the NYU community’s legitimate concerns regarding expansion, the university’s campuses abroad are a valuable asset and should be maintained.
Hamilton’s proposals set a good short-term precedent for his administration, but in light of Sexton’s leftover projects, the direction that Hamilton will eventually take the university is still unclear.
