NYU AAUP declares ‘no confidence’ in Mills following Paulson Center arrests
The letter from the faculty group disputed that the Gaza Solidarity Encampment outside the Paulson Center posed a risk to the university community, and criticized Mills’ approach to on-campus protests.

Strawberry Festival canceled 3 hours after Paulson Center arrests
The NYU Program Board announced that the festival, which was scheduled to take place this afternoon, was canceled after police arrested student protesters at the Paulson Center earlier this morning.

A Tisch professor disappeared during a misconduct investigation. Two semesters later, he’s scheduled to teach again.
An Office of Equal Opportunity investigation found that professor Robert Benevides’ actions toward a student in summer 2023 constituted sexual and gender-based harassment, email evidence shows. Benevides will teach two classes next semester, according to Albert.
