Suitsupply S/S 2017
July 12, 2016
The Suitsupply models arrived to 453 Broome St. on bicycles sporting the brand’s latest collection of gorgeous suits. Not only was it a beautiful spectacle to take over this SoHo street but it demonstrated just how lightweight and functional the Suitsupply suit truly is.

Suitsupply created their spring/summer 2017 with the German school of design, Bauhaus, “Art Into Industry” philosophy in mind. This philosophy upholds functionality whilst not sacrificing beauty. This stylish sensibility was paramount throughout the collection, perfectly tailored to the lifestyle of the 21st century man.
This season, Suitsupply interwove the traditional lightweight summer linen fabric with cashmere, cotton and silk allowing men to stay cool in the warmer months. Every suit ensemble had several layers, adding structure and allowing freedom to play around with patterns and colors. Plaids and stripes dominated, adding depth to the otherwise basic summer colors of white, cream, blue and heather grey.
In conclusion, Suitsupply spring/summer 2017 combined contemporary menswear with practical functionality in an effortless and aesthetically pleasing manner.
