Bartenders donate shifts to Sandy victims
Posted onNYU Alum Michael Sinensky owns a collection of popular East Village bars including Village Pourhouse and Sidebar. In an effort to raise money for the Rockaways, Sinensky is opening up his bars to displaced Rockaway bartenders every Friday for the next 3 months. Tips from the shifts will go directly to Sandy victims in the Rockaway area. Reporter Erica Chang has the story:
