Eminem has now been solidified in his status as an influencer in the political war that is always brewing in relevance to our President’s actions and remarks. What Eminem now says matters and the thought of that statement sounds like words that I'd have never thought I’d say when it came to Eminem and politics.
As a leader, much like in ethics, we ought to take the path of the greatest good. Mike Pence leaving a football game after players protested was not demonstrating good leadership.
As a further effort to paint the NFL players as anti-American, opposers are interpreting the protest as an attack to the military. The protest, however, is not about the military. It never has been.
The timing of this NFL kneeling event demonstrates the selfishness of NFL players and owners. By kneeling after President Trump’s comments, they have made protesting the national anthem about them.
