Julian Hammond Santander, Exposures Editor

Julian Hammond Santander is a queer Colombian-American artist, musician, photographer, writer, graphic designer and amateur fashion critic. They spend their time listening to new albums, reading Krishnamurti, keeping up with whatever Rick Owens is doing and critiquing demos— all usually at Tompkins Square Park. Julian strives to push boundaries and question what is “known.” This personal and artistic exploration dates back to his childhood, as he continues to understand and develop his unique personal style. His music spans genres and is available under the moniker Velvet Future. You can find him on Instagram @velvetfuture, or his personal Spotify @lagunajules.
