Sameer Jaywant is the Opinion Editor of WSN. A Canadian-born American citizen from the great state of New Jersey, he is a junior in the College of Arts and Science, studying International Relations and Economics. When not dedicating himself to the eternal pursuit of rationality and moderation in the greater American and global political discourse, Sameer is also Chair of the NYU Student Senators Council’s International Affairs Committee, Advocacy Director of NYU’s Generation Citizen organization, a Global Ambassador and a civics teacher in New York City public high schools, among other professional-sounding positions. He likes writing, running and playing the guitar, and loves Radiohead, all things French, Barney Stinson, and Peach-O’s.
