Students should boycott Uber to condemn sexual harassment in the company's workplace and to encourage the increase of gender diversity within Silicon Valley companies.
Yet for workers at these companies the end results are not as idyllic. In the share economy, workers often bear costs which more traditional businesses normally would.

Service apps like Uber, Postmates and Seamless, though undoubtedly effective in helping us keep up with the ever-increasing speed of our lives, represent another nail in the coffin of a once social, interpersonal society.
