Designer, Yara Flinn, has done it again. Nomia’s spring runway was a fluid piece of art.
The Nomia show held the essence of simplicity. The spring collection was filled with geometric cuts, signature symmetry, simple designs and was captivating to the eye. Her designs were earthy in her use of a neutral palate of whites, beiges and blacks, as well as in the bare faced models with defined eyebrows.
The fabrics used were a mixture of chiffon and leather, and even when layered upon one another each outfit seemed light and relaxed. The angles and pleating were precise, giving a new look to everyday outfits. In one piece in particular, she featured a cut out back on a classic white blazer. Elegant and simple, each outfit seemed to stand out and simulate a feeling of power.
Throughout the show, a splash of the color red would enter the line of nudes. The looks had variety, from casual to work to night out, all the while kept the essence of sleek sophistication.
