Trump's reaction to the mass shooting in Las Vegas was exactly the type of response a president should have when dealing with such a sensitive matter. But, where was it in Puerto Rico?
As a further effort to paint the NFL players as anti-American, opposers are interpreting the protest as an attack to the military. The protest, however, is not about the military. It never has been.
By not taking a strong stance on border patrol policies, and on race-driven issues such as police brutality, the Democratic Party is practically begging for division rather than the ‘unity’ they have been desperately calling for since the 2016 Presidential election.
The timing of this NFL kneeling event demonstrates the selfishness of NFL players and owners. By kneeling after President Trump’s comments, they have made protesting the national anthem about them.

Yet, no matter how much people struggle to take Kim Jong-un and U.S. president Donald Trump seriously, the threat this time around cannot be ignored, and the slightest strategical mistake will lead to a serious catastrophe.
