NYU needs to be proactive by investigating potential professors in order to ensure that our campus is not open to sexual assailants and harassers.

Todd Heatherton, a visiting scholar in NYU’s Department of Pyschology, was fired last month after Dartmouth College’s student newspaper revealed that Heatherton was under investigation for “serious misconduct.”
