Professors: Landlords Must Pay MTA

The New York City subway system was riddled with emergency repairs, train delays and system malfunctions this summer. To fix the subway system, Mayor Bill de Blasio plans to tax the rich to pay for repairs, but Governor Andrew Cuomo prefers to make the drivers pay to drive through the city’s most congested parts.
A new platform called Mixed-Reality Learning Environment, being developed by the Department of Mechatronics, will allow students to control laboratory equipment through mobile devices.

Mixed Reality Technology Innovated Tandon Laboratory Course

A team from Tandon's mechatronics departments are working to integrate mixed-reality technology in the classroom. This mixed reality environment will help students understand dynamic systems and control concepts, as well as cut the cost of lab equipment.
