Architecture has always been pivotal to the way I look at the world. Both my parents being architects taught me from a young age to appreciate details in the buildings that surround us. These photographs were taken at Storm King Art Center, a large sculpture garden located in Orange County, NY.

Last summer, I traveled across Japan with my father. While visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, I was amazed by the beautiful structures I encountered. As an international student, I spend so much time away from my family that we strive to make every moment count when we are together. This trip definitely was one of the most special moments I’ve had with my dad.
