Don't harp on millenials for being self-centered. We're struggling to improve the world just as much as any generation. Fixating on the perceived flaws of the generation is just distracting from the main issues.
Chandrika and Ranjan Tandon's donation to NYU, despite sudden name change, should not be spurned. Pushback to the name is ultimately an overreaction in comparison to the good the money will do.
Instead of defending the officers who arrested a high school freshman over an engineering project, we should be encouraging more people to imitate Ahmed’s curiosity and fortitude.
