The Housing Guide
Spring 2025

Letter from the Editors
Dear readers,
Apartment hunting is hard — there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Finding a place in the right area with the right people for the right price feels like an impossible task. This issue is here to help you explore your options, inform your decisions and attempt to make the process as seamless as possible — which it won’t be, because you’re apartment hunting in New York City.
While finding an apartment at an affordable price in a decent location by campus is incredibly difficult and stressful, the purpose of WSN’s housing guide is to lift some of that anxiety and gently push you into the right direction. Whether you’re choosing between one of NYU’s 23 residence halls, or looking for an apartment of your own, we hope you’ll find something worth reading in this issue.
This issue would not have been possible without our Deputy UTA Editor Maggie Turner. A huge thanks to Emily Genova, Anna Baird-Hassell, Isabella D’Erasmo, Katherine Welander, Tina Nejand and Krish Dev for helping oversee the production of this issue. As always, to our copy team — Anjali Mehta, Lauren Donnelly, Ella Sabrina Malabanan and Ethan Li — for helping edit each piece. A special shoutout to our beloved multimedia team for helping bring our ideas to life. And finally to our Puzzle Editor Lauren Ng for making this issue’s crossword.
Finally, to our readers: WSN thanks you for supporting us, and we hope you find this issue both informative and enjoyable.
Sincerely,

Yezen Saadah
