An NYU student is circulating a petition that requests that the university's academic calendar allow classes to be cancelled to accomadate major Jewish holidays.
The Bronfman Center on 10th Street, the heart of Jewish student life at NYU. The Center organised a trip to Israel for 25 student leaders in January, in an effort to facilitate a dialogue between individuals of different backgrounds.
