Eva Yiwei Xu’s designs are inspired by the Chinese philosophy of simplicity. Her fashion line All Comes From Nothing is for the artist inside each woman. Her pieces are simple yet eye-catching and comfortable yet unique.

Each look in her Spring/Summer 2018 collection incorporates beautiful details with elegant colors and fabrics. Many of them included thick stripes on shirts and cardigans, while others were decorated with abstract designs of faces and hands. Some of the jackets and shirts had prints of various faces adorning the front or the back.

Common colors in her designs were purple, orange, and green. These colors represented the fall season and the peaceful feeling that they create in a person.

Outfits ranged from the casual — like a rustic-colored sweater dress with a drawing of two people on the front — to the more formal and professional — like a striped green sweater matched with pinstriped pants.

Xu’s designs express a modern and playful feel that every woman is sure to feel comfortable and fashionable in. While her designs may not be eccentric and over-the-top, her line is perfect for the everyday woman who still wants to show off her artsy side. Xu is not only a designer, but also an artist —  evident in the way she pairs different pieces of clothing and incorporates artistic designs on her pieces.
