Katie Peurrung is a Gallatin sophomore concentrating in Photo Politics. In addition to working at WSN, she photographs for various roasters in the New York coffee scene and also interns for a sustainability start-up called Seastraws. She is originally from Washington state, but has been enjoying living the East Coast life for the last two years. Besides being home to the Empire State Building and Times Square, midtown is also where Central Park starts as it stretches north for the next 50 blocks.
