Men’s Cross Country

Athlete to Watch: CAS senior Ben Karam had some strong performances last season including when he set a career-best time in the 3,000m (8:45.28) at the NYC Division III Invitational. Look out for him to continue his rise and show out in his senior year as the only remaining member of the team that competed at nationals in 2017.

You Should Know: This past May, 2008 NYU graduate Hany Abdallah was inducted into NYU’s Hall of Fame for his incredible collegiate career. The CAS graduate was a five-time First Team All-UAA awardee and led NYU to its first-ever NCAA Cross Country Championship title in 2007.

In One Sentence: The team will look to build off its strong start to the season when three first-years posted top-ten finishes at the season opener at Ramapo College.

Next competition: Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Ron Stontisch Invitational at Vassar College
