This is a photo taken at Rouen Cathedral in France on March 1. I saw a man sitting in the nave, reading the Bible in front of the chancel. Light poured down upon him in a straight, unbroken stream, as if he were bathed in divine grace — pure, sacred and untouched. The sight moved me so deeply that I couldn’t help but lift my camera to capture the moment.

I’m studying abroad in London this semester, and I went to Paris for the weekend. There’s something so charming about the facades of Parisian buildings. It could be the nostalgic looking typography or the muted yet cozy colors, but everything feels very intimate. I couldn’t help but take pictures of nearly every one.
