Crime Log: Feb. 6 to Feb. 8

The NYU Department of Public Safety received five reports of larceny and one report of criminal mischief between Feb. 6 and Feb. 8.

Larceny

On Feb. 6 at 4:15 p.m. a student reported that his laundry was missing from a dryer in the laundry room at Gramercy Green. Police notification was declined.

On Feb. 6 at 4:15 p.m. a student reported that items were missing from his locker at the Palladium Athletic Facility. The case is open and under investigation.

On Feb. 6 at 6:37 p.m. a student reported that his USB drive was missing from an art display in the 721 Broadway gallery. A police report was filed.

On Feb. 8 at 8:30 a.m. in the Dental Center, a faculty member reported that items were missing from her locker. Police notification was declined.

On Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. a student reported that her bicycle was missing from the bike rack outside of Weinstein Hall. Police notification was declined.

Criminal Mischief

On Feb. 8 at 8:20 a.m. Public Safety reported observing graffiti on the exterior of 238 Thompson St.
