EXPOSURE | Oh, The Places You’ll Go
April 25, 2016
Find your home in different places. Seek the thrill that pushes you to get out of bed every morning. Oh, the places you’ll go. Search for the landscape that takes your breath away when you eyes meet it. Pinpoint the specific things that document your life– like the sound of the fall leaves ruffling, the crunch of snow under your feet, the smell of your mom’s cooking, the familiar feel of going home after studying in a university four oceans apart. Find the exhilaration a child feels in the plane rides you take to different places; anticipate the new adventures that wait for you. As an international student studying thousands of miles away from my actual home, I decided to make my home in the different experiences life threw at me. At the end of the day, home could be a set of arms, a loud family at the dining table, or a city that envelopes itself around you.
