Divest Rallies With National Standing Rock Movement

Divest stood in solidarity with Standing Rock during its pre-rally on Kimmel's staircases that happened before they joined a larger rally in the Financial District — a nationwide effort that occurred in various cities today.
Last Friday, a large crowd gathered in Washington Square Park to rally against the the Dakota Access Pipeline that would endanger the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota.
