School Superlatives 2018

Ah, the superlatives section of the yearbook brings back the greatest memories of high school heirarchy. The final days of senior year I flipped through the massive brick that was my yearbook, looking back on the past school year. But before I can see my caught-off-guard yearbook photo, I have to skim through the “Senior Superlatives” section, or as I like to call it, the one percent. I was a lucky member of the 99 percent not being praised for my great hair or my witty jokes, rather just a face among the other orchestra players featured in the “Club Pictures” section. As a somewhat bitter ode to my high school yearbook and to rewrite what I saw as misguided winners, I’ve partnered up with some members of the WSN staff to give NYU the superlatives list it deserves.
