Coral Towers residence hall is quickly becoming a hit. Situated on 14th Street and Third Avenue, Coral is convenient with a degree of comfortable separation. Residents can easily take advantage of the resources of Palladium, Third North and University residence halls, while avoiding living directly in the commotion of Union Square. In addition, Third Avenue is a convenient passageway to class. The average walk from Coral to campus is about 15 minutes.

The Third Avenue subway station is just around the corner, and the Union Square station is only a block away, giving residents easy access to multiple trains.

Vanessa’s Dumplings, located just across the street, is one food destination residents of Coral adore. Vanessa’s offers four dumplings for fewer than $2. Coral is also situated above Duane Reade, giving residents 24-hour access to food, medicine and other essentials.

For groceries, Trader Joe’s is less than a block away, and Whole Foods in Union Square is not far either. Food Emporium, the most frequented grocery store, is situated between the two.

Every room in Coral has at least one bathroom. Unlike the five-person suites in Palladium, those in Coral come equipped with two.

Still, some residents complain about the slow elevators, which are frequen-tly out of service. The friendly security guards, however, are more than willing to help pass the time.
