Chado Ralph Rucci Spring/Summer 2013

Chado Ralph Rucci’s designs are known for their elegance and attention to details.  The Spring 2013 Collection focused on feminine elegance, simplicity and exactitude.

While maintaining a serene sense of austerity, Rucci added bright colors such as neon pink and yellow to bring out the dramatic look within the original elegance.  The choices of color, fabric, and designs were inspired by oriental nature.

To go along with the precision and simplicity of the designs, the models wore their hair slicked back as envisioned by stylist Laurent Philippon.  Make-up by MAC PRO Team gave almost no colors in the models’ matte faces as well.  However, all models had bold eyes with dark, heavy, smokey makeup, with their lips undressed, to dramatize the overall look.

Accessories added to the sense of simplistic elegance.  Transparent, metallic-detailed gloves were worn by each model.

With these new touches such as the contemporary colors, sparkling details, black patent leathers, and sheer tops, Rucci has re-invented the definition of elegance for this upcoming spring.
