I think Jay Walder is a good choice but I would disagree that London's system is "by far more convenient". It is several times as expensive, not 24 hours, has no express tracks, no air conditioning, and delays that are far longer than NYC's system. That said, if Walder can bring London's bus system to NY - that would be amazing.
